Anti-NAMPT Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is a rabbit-derived primary antibody raised against NAMPT (Nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase), also known as NAmPRTase, PBEF1, Visfatin, and Pre-B-cell colony-enhancing factor 1. The immunogen is a recombinant human NAMPT protein, and the antibody was purified by affinity purification prior to formulation, yielding a stock concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, supplemented with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It is supplied unconjugated at the 50 µl pack size, is intended to detect endogenous levels of total NAMPT protein, and has been validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF). Reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse, and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies in cell and tissue models. For handling, the manufacturer ships the vial at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
