Anti-NAGS Antibody

NAGS, or N-acetylglutamate synthase, is a mitochondrial matrix enzyme that catalyzes formation of N-acetylglutamate, the obligate allosteric activator of carbamoyl phosphate synthetase I (CPS1) in the hepatic urea cycle. The Anti-NAGS antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent raised against human NAGS, supporting research into hyperammonemia, NAGSD (an autosomal recessive urea cycle disorder), and CPS1 regulation. This unconjugated primary antibody is intended for western blot detection of endogenous NAGS protein in human cell lines and tissue lysates.
