NAA50 (N-alpha-acetyltransferase 50, also called NAT13) is an enzyme that catalyzes N-terminal protein acetylation and operates as part of the NatA complex alongside the catalytic subunits NAA10 and NAA15. Rabbit polyclonal antibodies from Antibodies.com recognize human, mouse, and rat NAA50 and are validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. The immunogen-purified IgG fraction is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 50 µl vial that can be aliquoted into smaller working volumes to limit repeated freeze-thaw exposure. For long-term storage keep frozen at -20°C, and protect from prolonged light to preserve antibody activity. Because the reagent is unconjugated, it can be paired with HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies for chromogenic, chemiluminescent, or fluorescence detection. NAA50 localizes to the cytoplasm and nucleus and has documented roles in cell cycle progression, chromosome segregation, and cellular stress responses, making this antibody relevant to studies of post-translational modification, chromatin biology, and tumor cell proliferation.
