NAA50 (also known as NAT5 or SAN) is the catalytic subunit of the human NatA N-terminal acetyltransferase complex, which performs co-translational N-alpha-acetylation on nascent polypeptides and contributes to chromatin-associated protein modification. This polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and provided by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, supplied as a 100 µl vial suitable for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

The reagent targets the NAA50 catalytic subunit and is commonly used by researchers studying histone H4 acetylation, the DNA damage response, cell cycle regulation, and cancer-relevant pathways where NAA50 overexpression has been observed in published studies. The polyclonal format allows recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, supporting consistent detection across western blot membranes and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections in IHC staining protocols.

Store aliquots at -20 degrees C for long-term stability, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. Sodium azide is included as a preservative; appropriate handling precautions apply when staining live-cell preparations. Intended for research use only.
