Raised in rabbit against the MYST2 lysine acetyltransferase, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as an unconjugated 50 µl vial and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. MYST2 (also known as KAT6B and MORF) is a member of the MYST family of chromatin-modifying enzymes, where it acetylates histone H3 and H4 tails to regulate transcription, RNA polymerase II elongation, and developmental gene programs. Cross-reactivity covers human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work across cultured mammalian cells and rodent tissue, including studies into SBBYSS (Say-Barber-Biesecker-Young-Simpson syndrome) and genitopatellar syndrome, where pathogenic KAT6B variants have been documented. The unconjugated format leaves the choice of fluorophore or HRP conjugation to the end user, and the reagent is intended for research use only.
