MYST2 is a member of the MYST (Moz, Ybf2/Sas3, Sas2, Tip60) family of histone acetyltransferases, also designated KAT7/HBO1, that catalyzes acetylation of histone H3 and H4 and participates in chromatin remodeling, DNA replication licensing, and transcriptional regulation.
This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against MYST2 and validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows across Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The antibody is supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot, with the polyclonal format providing recognition of multiple epitopes on the target protein for use in standard immunoblotting and immunofluorescence protocols.
Produced by Antibodies.com, this reagent supports research into histone modification, gene expression, and chromatin biology. Investigators commonly apply it to study MYST2-dependent acetylation events, including its role in ORC-mediated replication complex assembly and its functional interactions with other MYST family acetyltransferases such as MOZ and MORF.
