Anti-MYPT1 (phospho-T696) Antibody

Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets myosin phosphatase target subunit 1 (MYPT1) only when threonine 696 is phosphorylated, the inhibitory site modified by Rho-associated kinase (ROCK) and related kinases. Detection of phospho-T696 MYPT1 is widely used as a downstream readout of ROCK pathway activity in studies of smooth muscle contraction, vascular tone, cytoskeletal remodeling, and cell motility.

Validated for Western blot on human, mouse, and rat samples, the antibody is supplied as 100 µl of liquid at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3.
