Anti-MYPT1 Antibody

The Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against myosin phosphatase target subunit 1 (MYPT1), the ~115 kDa regulatory subunit that anchors the catalytic PP1cδ phosphatase to myosin light chains and modulates smooth-muscle contractility, Rho-kinase signaling, and cytoskeletal remodeling across vertebrate tissues. Affinity-purified IgG is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, ready to dilute for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. Cross-reactivity has been validated on human, mouse, and rat samples, making the reagent useful for cardiovascular, gastrointestinal smooth-muscle, and vascular-biology studies that probe phosphorylation-dependent regulation of myosin light-chain phosphatase activity.
