Polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against myotubularin related protein 4 (MTMR4), a phosphoinositide 3-phosphatase of the myotubularin family that dephosphorylates PtdIns3P and PtdIns(3,5)P2 at endosomal membranes to regulate endosome maturation, autophagosome formation, and intracellular trafficking.

From Antibodies.com, this unconjugated primary antibody is supplied as 100 µl of rabbit antiserum and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence on human samples. Researchers use it to monitor endogenous MTMR4 expression in cell lysates, map its subcellular localization to early and late endosomes, and explore connections to centronuclear myopathy biology and phosphoinositide signaling cascades.

For Western blot, a typical starting dilution is 1:500 to 1:2000 depending on sample abundance; for immunofluorescence on fixed cells, 1:100 to 1:500 is a useful starting range. Store the vial refrigerated and aliquot to minimize freeze-thaw cycles. For research use only — in vitro applications.
