Anti-MYOG Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets myogenin (MYOG), a muscle-specific basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor that drives terminal differentiation of skeletal myoblasts into mature muscle fibers. Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation, the antibody is provided in a 200 µl vial and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. It recognizes MYOG from human, mouse, and rat, supporting comparative studies of myogenesis, satellite cell activation following muscle injury, regeneration of damaged myofibers, and characterization of rhabdomyosarcoma cell lines and tumor sections.
