Anti-MYOC Antibody

A polyclonal antibody reagent from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit against the MYOC (myocilin) protein target. The antibody is of the IgG isotype and supplied in an unconjugated liquid format, purified by affinity chromatography and validated for Western blot (WB) applications.

It was generated using a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 245-504 of human MYOC (NP_000252.1), and recognises the target at a reported molecular weight of 65 kDa. The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. Recommended WB dilutions range from 1:500 to 1:2,000. The reagent reacts with Human and Mouse samples. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
