Anti-MYL7 Antibody

Available through Antibodies.com as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, this rabbit antibody recognizes myosin light chain 7 (MYL7), the cardiac atrial isoform also called MLC-2A. Supplied at 1 mg/mL in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the 100 µL vial is intended for Western blot detection of endogenous MYL7 in human, mouse, and rat samples. MYL7 expression is widely profiled in studies of cardiomyocyte differentiation, heart development, and atrial versus ventricular lineage, where it acts as a marker of atrial muscle identity. The glycerol-containing buffer allows storage at -20 °C with minimal freeze-thaw damage, and the unconjugated format gives researchers flexibility to pair the primary with HRP, fluorescent, or biotin secondary reagents as their readout requires.
