Anti-MYH2 Antibody

This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and recognizes MYH2 (myosin heavy chain IIa / MyHC-IIa), the fast-twitch type IIa skeletal muscle isoform encoded on chromosome 17p13.1. The antibody is validated for Western blot applications on human samples and is supplied as 100 µl of IgG in an unconjugated format suited to downstream HRP-, fluorescent-, or biotin-based detection chemistries. Researchers studying inclusion body myositis, Laing-type distal myopathy, and other MYH2-related neuromuscular disorders, as well as fiber-type composition in skeletal muscle, use this reagent to detect myosin heavy chain IIa expression in whole-tissue lysates and differentiated myotube preparations.
