Anti-MyD88 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against the MyD88 target. The reagent is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, supplied as a liquid, and purified by affinity chromatography. It is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. Applications listed include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF), with the antibody formally validated for WB and ICC/IF and supported by two scientific validation images.

The antibody was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 50–150 of human MyD88 (NP_001166038.2); the reported immunogen sequence is LAEEMDFEYLEIRQLETQADPTGRLLDAWQGRPGASVGRLLELLTKLGRDDVLLELGPSIEEDCQKYILKQQQEEAEKPLQVAAVDSSVPRTAELAGITTL. The reported molecular weight for MyD88 is 33 kDa. The product is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% Glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, with a lot-specific concentration.

Recommended starting dilutions are 1:100–1:500 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
