The Antibodies.com Anti-Myc Tag antibody is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 reagent raised against the EQKLISEEDL epitope, a 10-amino-acid peptide commonly fused to recombinant proteins as a detection handle. It has been validated for western blot, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation workflows, supporting researchers working with tagged constructs expressed in mammalian, bacterial, or insect host systems. The 100 µg liquid format is supplied without sodium azide, giving flexibility for live-cell imaging and fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibody applications. For optimal antibody stability, store the vial at -20 °C in working aliquots and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity; routine use at 4 °C for short-term projects is acceptable when handled aseptically.
