Produced in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated primary antibody targets the c-Myc transcription factor at an epitope designated R367. Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, the reagent binds human, mouse, and rat c-Myc, supporting detection of both endogenous protein and Myc-tagged constructs in research samples. From Antibodies.com, it is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, packaged as a 100 µl aliquot for routine immunodetection workflows.
The liquid format supports flexible dilution in standard blotting and staining protocols, while the polyclonal profile increases the likelihood of recognizing denatured target material in western blot applications. Sodium azide acts as a preservative; samples should be handled according to standard laboratory practice for azide-containing antibody solutions.
