Anti-Myc (Phospho-Thr358) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody specific for Myc phosphorylated at threonine 358. It was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to the sequence surrounding the Thr358 phosphorylation site of human Myc, and the manufacturer states that it detects the endogenous protein only when phosphorylated at threonine 358. Non-phospho-specific antibodies were removed by affinity chromatography using the corresponding non-phosphopeptide. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, and the conjugate is unconjugated. Reactivity is reported for human samples.

Validated applications include Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and the product is supplied with three scientific validation images.

The antibody is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. It is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C upon delivery, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
