Anti-Myc (phospho-T58) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised against Myc (phospho-T58). The unconjugated reagent is formulated at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunoprecipitation (IP), and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

Specificity: p-Myc (T58) pAb detects endogenous levels of proto-oncogene c-Myc protein only when phosphorylated at Thr58. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Myc around the phosphorylation site of Threonine 58. Observed molecular weights are approximately 49, 57 and 65 kDa. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as assessed by SDS-PAGE.
