Anti-Myc (K422) Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 401–450 of human Myc and is designed to detect the c-Myc proto-oncogene protein. The unconjugated reagent is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

Validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF), the antibody is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples. Myc (K422) pAb detects endogenous levels of proto-oncogene c-Myc protein.

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Observed molecular weights for the target are approximately 49, 57 and 65 kDa.
