Supplied through the Antibodies.com catalogue of primary antibodies, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against the C-terminal region of human Myc and is intended for the detection of endogenous total Myc protein. The antibody is provided as a 50 µL aliquot at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4 with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a stabiliser. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, the isotype is IgG, and the conjugate is unconjugated, allowing users to couple the reagent with their preferred detection chemistry. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse and rat samples. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, supporting low-background performance in both blotting and staining workflows. For handling, the product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
