Anti-Myc (Ab-58) Antibody

Produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide and KLH conjugates corresponding to the sequence around amino acids 56–60 (L-P-T-P-P) of Human Myc, the antibody is purified by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific peptide and detects endogenous levels of total Myc protein. It is supplied unconjugated at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The reagent is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
