Anti-Myc (Ab-358) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the Myc protein and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. The unconjugated antibody is raised in Rabbit and reacts with Human samples, detecting the endogenous level of total Myc protein.

It was generated by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide spanning amino acids 356–360 (R-R-T-H-N) of human Myc conjugated to KLH, and subsequently purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific peptide. The reagent is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. It is shipped at 4 °C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
