Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified against a recombinant human MXI1 immunogen, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is designed for the selective detection of MAX interacting protein 1, a basic-helix-loop-helix transcription factor that antagonizes MYC-driven proliferative signaling and is implicated in tumorigenesis. The antibody is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, buffered in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It is unconjugated, allowing flexibility in downstream labeling, and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications where it recognizes the endogenous level of total MXI1. Cross-reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting broad use across model systems and primary tissue studies. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for long-term storage at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The product is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Packaged under the Antibodies.com catalogue reference A40076, this lot offers a reliable tool for laboratories studying MAX/MYC network regulation, cell-cycle control, and tumor suppressor biology.
