Raised in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent, this Antibodies.com Primary Antibody detects endogenous levels of muscle-specific receptor tyrosine kinase (MUSK), the postsynaptic organizer that drives acetylcholine receptor clustering at the neuromuscular junction in response to agrin-LRP4 signaling. Validated for Western blot (WB) applications on human and mouse samples, the reagent is supplied as 100 µl of liquid antibody that has been affinity-purified against an MUSK immunogen.

Prepared in a phosphate-buffered saline formulation containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant, the antibody should be shipped on cold packs, aliquoted upon first thaw, and stored long-term at -20°C. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided, and vials should be protected from light during routine handling. The MUSK receptor is a single-pass transmembrane tyrosine kinase whose cytoplasmic domain recruits Dok-7 and rapsyn to anchor acetylcholine receptors, and the target is closely linked to congenital myasthenic syndromes and to autoimmune myasthenia gravis driven by anti-MUSK autoantibodies, making this reagent relevant to studies of agrin-driven clustering, denervation responses in skeletal muscle, and downstream receptor stabilization in cell and tissue lysates.

Intended for research use only, the antibody is offered by Antibodies.com as part of its MUSK portfolio, supporting work in neuromuscular junction biology, postsynaptic receptor tyrosine kinase signaling, and related neuromuscular pathology.
