Anti-Musashi-1 Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal reagent is raised against Musashi-1 (MSI1) and is intended for Western blot (WB) workflows. It is produced in mouse as a monoclonal antibody and is provided unconjugated, supplied as a 50 µl aliquot of purified protein in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, with a purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE following affinity-chromatography from mouse ascites using the epitope-specific immunogen. The immunogen corresponds to recombinant full-length human Musashi-1, and the antibody specifically recognizes endogenous levels of Musashi-1 without cross-reacting with related proteins. Reactivity has been validated against human, mouse and rat samples, and in Western blot the predicted and observed band size is approximately 39 kDa. Researchers should aliquot the antibody upon arrival and store it at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles, for stable long-term use.
