Engineered for diagnostic immunoassay development, this Antibodies.com IVD-grade reagent is a purified mouse monoclonal antibody raised against the Mumps virus nucleoprotein and is supplied at 1 mg in a Protein A-purified format. The antibody is of the IgG2b isotype and is presented unconjugated, allowing straightforward conjugation or direct labelling in user-defined workflows. It is validated for use in ELISA and IFA, with a working concentration of ≥1 mg/mL in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 0.1% sodium azide as a preservative. Specificity is directed against the nucleoprotein of Mumps virus, and the reagent shows no cross-reactivity with Measles virus, Respiratory Syncytial virus, or Parainfluenza virus types 1, 2 and 3, supporting clean signal generation in mumps serology and antigen-detection assays.
