Raised in rabbit against the human MUL1 protein, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 200 µl aliquot intended for western blot detection of the target.

MUL1 (Mitochondrial Ubiquitin Ligase 1, also known as MULAN, GIDE, or MAPL) is a RING-finger E3 ubiquitin ligase anchored in the outer mitochondrial membrane. It contributes to Parkin-independent mitophagy, regulates mitochondrial dynamics through its interactions with mitofusin-2, drives p53-associated apoptosis, and modulates NF-κB signaling, which makes it a focal point for research into mitochondrial turnover, apoptosis, and programmed cell death.

The unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody detects endogenous human MUL1 in whole-cell or mitochondrial-enriched lysates by WB, and its unconjugated format allows flexible downstream labelling with HRP, fluorophore, or biotin conjugates depending on the chosen detection chemistry.
