Anti-MUC4 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human MUC4 mucin, this polyclonal IgG reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated 100 µl aliquot for western blot workflows. MUC4 is a high-molecular-weight transmembrane mucin expressed on normal epithelial surfaces and frequently overexpressed or aberrantly glycosylated in carcinomas of the pancreas, breast, ovary, and lung, supporting its use as a marker in oncology and mucin-biology research. Researchers apply the antibody to whole-cell lysates and tissue homogenates to investigate tumor progression, ErbB2-mediated signaling, and epithelial differentiation.
