An affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody to mTOR (S2442) is offered by Antibodies.com, validated for Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) use. The unconjugated reagent detects endogenous levels of mTOR protein in Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is supported by five scientific validation images.
The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 2430-2480 of human mTOR. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2.
The target protein has a reported molecular weight of approximately 289 kDa, and the antibody is greater than 95% pure by SDS-PAGE following affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen.
