Anti-mTOR Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific immunogen chromatography, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. It was generated against a synthetic peptide derived from human mTOR around the non-phosphorylation site of S2448, and it specifically detects endogenous levels of the mammalian target of rapamycin (also known as FRAP, FRAP1, FRAP2, RAFT1, RAPT1 and Serine/threonine-protein kinase mTOR). The antibody has been validated across multiple research applications, performing reliably in ELISA, Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows. It cross-reacts with human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for comparative studies in cell and tissue models from all three species. For best results, vials should be shipped at 4 °C on arrival, aliquoted promptly, and stored long-term at –20 °C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
