Anti-MTF2 Antibody

Produced in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com, this antibody targets MTF2 (metal response element binding transcription factor 2), a chromatin reader subunit of Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 that recognizes H3K27me3 marks and contributes to gene silencing, X-chromosome inactivation, and developmental lineage commitment.

The preparation is supplied as 100 µl of liquid at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. MTF2 localizes predominantly to the nucleus across a broad range of transformed and primary cell lines, supporting its use in chromatin biology, stem cell, and cancer epigenetics studies.

For storage and handling, keep the vial frozen at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, protect from light, and allow the contents to equilibrate to room temperature before pipetting.
