Anti-MTERF Antibody

Sourced through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against the human MTERF protein — also known as mitochondrial transcription termination factor 1 (mTERF1) — and supplied as 50 µl of an unconjugated formulation at approximately 1.0 mg/mL. The buffer is phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and the host isotype is rabbit IgG. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human MTERF, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of total MTERF protein. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. The vial is shipped refrigerated at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
