Raised in rabbit against the metastasis-associated protein MTA3, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com supports chromatin-remodeling research via Western blot and immunohistochemistry. MTA3 functions as a core subunit of the NuRD (Nucleosome Remodeling and Deacetylase) complex, coupling ATP-dependent nucleosome repositioning with histone deacetylation to modulate transcription.
The antibody recognizes human, mouse, and rat MTA3 and is supplied as 200 µl of liquid stock, ready for immunoblotting of cell and tissue lysates and for fixed-section imaging studies. Because MTA3 has been linked to estrogen-driven epithelial-mesenchymal transition in breast cancer models and to B-cell maturation, the reagent is relevant to projects on tumor progression, lineage specification, and epigenetic control of gene expression.
Brief centrifugation before opening collects the solution at the vial base; aliquot upon first use and store refrigerated to preserve activity across multiple experiments. The product is intended for research use only.
