Anti-MT-CYB Antibody

A primary antibody from Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets MT-CYB and is validated for Western blot (WB). It is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody is supplied as a liquid and purified by affinity purification.

Recommended WB dilution is 1:200–1:1,000. The product is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide, and the target protein migrates at approximately 43 kDa. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon arrival, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1–100 of mouse MT-CYB (NP_904340.1). Western blot validation was performed using the antibody at 1:1,000 dilution with a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary at 1:10,000, 25 µg lysate per lane, 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST as blocking buffer, and an ECL Basic Kit for detection.
