Raised in rabbit against the mStrawberry fluorescent protein, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody is intended for researchers who need direct detection of mStrawberry-tagged fusion proteins in transfected cells and tissue samples. mStrawberry is a monomeric red fluorescent protein variant derived from the mCherry lineage, widely used as a reporter tag because of its photostability and its emission profile in the far-red region of the visible spectrum. The antibody binds the native folded mStrawberry chromophore as well as denatured protein on membranes, supporting use in western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation workflows carried out with standard laboratory protocols.

Supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl liquid aliquot of neat antiserum without preservative, the reagent is appropriate for single-use or short-term working stocks depending on application dilution. The unconjugated format allows end users to choose their preferred secondary reporter, including HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated secondaries, so the same primary reagent can be deployed across imaging, chromogenic, or affinity-capture experiments. Storage at -20 °C in small working aliquots is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and the antibody is intended for research use only.
