Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against GDF8/Myostatin (MSTN), offered by Antibodies.com. The reagent is an unconjugated IgG, generated in Rabbit, and has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The antibody was produced using a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 267–375 of human GDF-8/Myostatin (NP_005250.1). The target has a reported molecular weight of 28 kDa / 43 kDa. The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and has been purified by affinity chromatography.

Recommended working dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:1,000 and IHC: 1:50–1:100. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. Concentration is reported as lot-specific.
