Anti-MSR1 Antibody

Produced in rabbits by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent targets MSR1 (macrophage scavenger receptor 1, also called CD204 or SR-A1), a class A trimeric scavenger receptor expressed on macrophages and related myeloid cells. MSR1 mediates uptake of modified lipoproteins and microbial polyanions, linking innate immunity, foam-cell biology, and atherosclerotic plaque development. The unconjugated antibody is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat tissue sections, supporting studies of lesional macrophage burden, foam-cell formation in vascular models, and pattern-recognition receptor signaling.
