Anti-MSH6 Antibody

This Mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets MSH6 (MutS Homolog 6), a key component of the DNA mismatch repair (MMR) machinery. MSH6 forms the MutSα heterodimer with MSH2 and is responsible for recognizing base-base mismatches and small insertion/deletion loops, particularly G/T mispairs generated during DNA replication. Loss-of-function mutations in MSH6 are strongly linked to Lynch syndrome (hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer, HNPCC) and are commonly observed in colorectal, endometrial, and other MSI-high tumors, making this reagent relevant to DNA repair studies and oncology research.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of purified immunoglobulin in a stabilizing buffer containing 0.1M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl, 50% glycerol, and 0.2% sodium azide as a preservative.
