Anti-MRPS21 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this reagent is a polyclonal rabbit IgG preparation raised against an internal synthetic peptide of human MRPS21 (mitochondrial 28S ribosomal protein S21, also known as MRP-S21, RPMS21, S21mt or bS21m). The affinity-purified antiserum recognises endogenous levels of total MRPS21 protein and is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺, and containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as stabilisers. The unconjugated primary antibody is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and cross-reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse and rat samples. Vials are shipped on wet ice at 4 °C; upon receipt the product should be aliquoted and stored long term at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve reagent integrity. Intended for research use only and not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications, this reagent is well suited to studies of mitochondrial ribosome biogenesis, small-subunit assembly and translation-related pathways in mammalian cells and tissue sections.
