Anti-MRPL51 Antibody

A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the MRPL51 protein, a mitochondrial ribosomal component encoded on chromosome 12. The affinity-purified rabbit antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 59-103 of human MRPL51 and is reported to detect endogenous levels of the protein in human, mouse, and rat samples. The reagent is unconjugated and supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3.

Validated for Western blotting, the polyclonal antibody has a purity of greater than 96% as determined by SDS-PAGE, and the corresponding protein migrates at approximately 15 kDa. Third-party reference data indicate that MRPL51 shows low tissue specificity and localises to mitochondria, consistent with its role as a mitochondrial ribosomal protein.
