Anti-MRPL13 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the mitochondrial ribosomal protein MRPL13 (also known as 39S ribosomal protein L13, L13, or MRP-L13) and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) supplemented with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The unconjugated antibody was raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminus of human MRPL13 and is purified by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific peptide, yielding a polyclonal IgG preparation that recognizes endogenous levels of total MRPL13 protein. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications on human samples, making it suitable for studies of mitochondrial translation and ribosome biogenesis. For routine handling, the product is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
