Specificity is restricted to endogenous levels of MRE11 protein only when phosphorylated at S264, as defined by the immunogen: a synthesized peptide derived from human MRE11 around the phosphorylation site of S264. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen and is supplied at 1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide, 0.5% BSA and 50% glycerol.

For handling, the product is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
