The Anti-Mrc1 polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and specifically recognizes Mrc1 (Mediator of Replication Checkpoint 1) in Schizosaccharomyces pombe. Mrc1 is a key effector of the DNA replication checkpoint, phosphorylated by the Cds1 kinase to enforce S-phase arrest and stabilize stalled replication forks under replication stress. This unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot in a vial and is validated for western blot (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP) applications. Researchers commonly use it to study checkpoint signaling, replisome stability, and the Swi1-Swi3 fork protection complex in fission yeast. For best results, store refrigerated at 4°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve antibody activity.
