The MRAS protein (Muscle RAS oncogene homolog) is a member of the Ras-related small GTPase family. It acts as a molecular switch cycling between active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound states, and participates in upstream signaling to the RAF-MEK-ERK cascade as well as the Hippo tumor-suppressor pathway. Researchers investigating RAS-driven signaling, neuronal development, and certain cancers (including glioblastoma) have used MRAS-targeting reagents to probe pathway activation and subcellular localization. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against MRAS and has been validated for Western Blot detection in mouse samples. The product is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot in a vial, sufficient for multiple immunoblotting experiments when used at typical working dilutions.
