MORC2 is a nuclear chromatin-remodeling protein belonging to the MORC family of CW-type zinc finger ATPases. It has been investigated for its role in the DNA damage response, gene silencing, lipid metabolism, and tumor progression pathways studied in several cancer models. Mutations in the encoding gene have been linked to Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2Z (CMT2Z), making this antigen relevant for neuroscience and neuropathy research programs.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows and detects both the human and mouse proteins. It is supplied as a 100 µl vial and recognizes multiple epitopes on the target, which is useful for immunoblotting membranes and fixed tissue sections.

Researchers commonly apply this reagent to investigate MORC2 expression in breast cancer, gastric cancer, and neural tissue contexts, as well as to probe chromatin-associated signaling events. Store refrigerated in the supplied vial for short-term use; for longer-term storage, aliquot and freeze to preserve activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles. This product is intended for research use only.
