Moesin (MSN), a member of the ERM (ezrin-radixin-moesin) family that links the actin cytoskeleton to the plasma membrane, is the target of this rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, packaged as 50 µl per vial.

Validated applications include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FC), with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples. The polyclonal response produces a population of antibodies recognizing multiple epitopes on moesin, which is useful for tracking the protein in cell lysates, fixed tissue sections, and intact cells.

Researchers commonly apply this reagent in studies of cell adhesion, migration, membrane ruffling, microvilli formation, and immune synapse organization, as well as in oncology work where moesin phosphorylation and redistribution have been linked to tumor invasion and cytoskeletal remodeling.
