Molybdenum Cofactor Synthesis 3 (MOCS3) is the adenylyltransferase and sulfurtransferase that activates the small subunit of molybdopterin synthase in the molybdenum cofactor biosynthesis pathway, and the rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against it supports protein detection in western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. Produced by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody, it is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in 100 µl of PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

The antibody binds endogenous human MOCS3 in cell lysates and in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, supporting studies of sulfur transfer chemistry, molybdenum cofactor assembly, and the cellular consequences of molybdenum cofactor deficiency, a rare inborn metabolic disorder linked to impaired molybdopterin synthesis. As a polyclonal reagent it recognises multiple epitopes on the target, which is helpful when probing low-abundance proteins or comparing expression across experimental conditions.

Storage in 50% glycerol keeps the antibody stable during routine laboratory handling, and aliquoting upon first use limits repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve consistent performance across western blot and IHC applications.
