Anti-MOCS2 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com and is raised against MOCS2, validated for Western blot detection of the molybdenum cofactor synthesis 2 protein in mouse samples. MOCS2 encodes two functional splice variants, MOCS2A and MOCS2B, which together carry out the early steps of molybdopterin biosynthesis, the precursor of the molybdenum cofactor required by enzymes such as sulfite oxidase, xanthine dehydrogenase, and aldehyde oxidase. The unconjugated primary antibody is packaged as a 200 µl vial and is intended for research use only in studies of molybdenum cofactor deficiency, sulfite metabolism disorders, and related metabolic disease models. Reactivity is restricted to mouse, and the polyclonal format provides broader epitope coverage than monoclonal alternatives.
