Anti-MNK1 (Phospho-Thr255) Antibody

It was produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates corresponding to the peptide sequence around the phosphorylation site of threonine 255 (L-T-T(p)-P-C) derived from Human MNK1, then purified by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific phosphopeptide; non-phospho-specific antibodies were removed by chromatography using the non-phosphopeptide. The antibody detects endogenous levels of MNK1 only when phosphorylated at threonine 255. It is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol.
