The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from human MMP25, and the antibody is affinity-purified on the immunogen before being formulated as an unconjugated, ready-to-use reagent supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotective additive. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples, making the reagent suitable for cross-species studies of MMP25 expression in cell lines and primary cells as well as in tissue-derived preparations.
